The Scottsdale Doctors Surgery was established in 1985 by Dr Clive Cawthorne in Victoria Street. As our services expanded we outgrew this facility. In February 2012 we relocated to our current location, 2 Fosters Road. This purpose built facility was constructed under GP North ownership. This project was funded through a Federal Government grant and an agreement with the Department of Health and Human Services to use the land on which it is built.
Our GPs provide comprehensive medical care to individuals and their families in the community. Our mission is to deliver quality healthcare with empathy and respect to our community and visitors. We take pride in providing quality care and attention to all our patients. It is not always possible to see the GP of your choice, at short notice, but our doctors work together as a team to ensure that your healthcare needs are met.
We provide our services to the Bridport community with our sub branch, Bridport Doctors Surgery. This surgery operates under the same guidelines of the Scottsdale Doctors Surgery Our GPs also provide services to the North Eastern Soldiers Memorial Hospital, supporting a 24 hour emergency service to the Dorset Municipality.
Our practice is a diverse team consisitng of doctors, nurses, administration and support staff. They each bring vital experiences and skills to our practice.
Our doctors and nurses undertake continuous clinical training to ensure their knowledge and skills are up to date. Our practice nurses are highly involved with patient care from acute emergencies to the management of chronic diseases. Our administration team are the forefront of our patient service. They receive additional training to assist with their professional and personal development. We are grateful to our support staff who provide us with a lovely clean environment to work in and offer our patients. These are our silent workers who are very much appreciated.
