Dr Burch lived and worked in rural areas of Queensland prior to moving to Tasmania. She is our longest practicing GP; having worked at our surgery for 14 years. Dr Burch completed her training at the University of Queensland. She has a special interest in chronic pain, emergency medicine and medical education.
Outside of the office Dr Burch enjoys spending time with her family and playing her violin.
Dr Burch is not currently accepting new patients.

Dr Stone and her family came to Scottsdale in 2005, ready for a year long working holiday. She has been here ever since.
Dr Stone studied medicine at the University of Minnesota/Duluth, which recruits rural students to become rural GPs. She completed her family practice residency in Salinas, California, caring mostly for spanish farmers. After practicing in both California and her home town of Loveland, Ohio, Dr Stone decided to work internationally.
Dr Stone has a special interest in obstetrics and has delivered many babies in the North Eastern Soliders Memorial Hospital. Delivery at NESMH is longer available, however Dr Stone is happy to be involved with the share care program of our maternity patients and their obstetrician. She is also passionate about caring for patients who find it hard to access health care.
Outside of the office Dr Stone enjoys spending time with her family, bushwalking and bike riding. She also relishes in the opportunity of volunteering her time as a doctor. She has volunteered with medical projects in El Salvador, Nicaragua and South Sudan.

Dr Obanor practiced as a GP in Nigeria and Trinidad before coming to us in 2013. He has a special interest in surgery and procedural medicine.
Dr Obanor's interests outside of work include soccer and lawn tennis.
